It is important to keep an eye out for warning signs of abusers (possessiveness, paranoia or jealousy, outbursts or mood swings, aggressive behavior, suicidal tendencies) and signs of the abused (mood changes, flinching, weight change, grades dropping, change of appearance, bruising).
